The Club room, the Parlour, The apres dinner drinks alcove, the card room, the study, the den, the smoking room. It’s the intimate place you gather pre and post meal with friends to engage. It’s a piano room. The room the family gathers in to play music or catch up on the day.

Painted in a deep and moody Farrow and Ball Railings, the emotional blue undertones pop off the reddish brown tones of the douglas fir window frames, crown moldings and baseboards.

We called it the sunroom. You could also call it the sunset room. It soaks up all the rays coming in from the vast lake view and filters them through wavy vintage glass. A long linear beadboard bench, painted in a tranquil deep blue, runs along side and under the window. A quiet office with original separation off the parlour and kitchen. Simple and stunning.

Coved plaster ceilings and original Craftsman windows. A large rustic and feminine farmhouse style chandelier hangs with understated style in the soft white room trimmed with hand mixed burnt umber pigmented millwork.
