This 1887 gem has all the feels. 12 foot ceilings, moldings dreams are made of and gorgeous lighting. She emits a soft and pretty, easy breezy color palette, handsome flooring (wait till you see the downstairs photos- DROOL), a Kinfolk meets Devol kitchen vibe (I know, some of you will have no idea what I am saying and some of you will die because that combo is soooo good). We hired some seriously talented stagers, wonderful stylish interior designers who made the furnishings and their styling come alive with whimsy. Then there is the backyard, shaded by a romantic lemon tree and with literally thousands of lemons. There are the hundred year old bricks we hand-selected so that they would fit with the age and soul of the house. It had to feel soulful. It couldn't just be regular. The front of the home has beautiful bay windows under fishscale and a cozy Victorian front porch. This beauty has SOUL. BONES AND SOUL. Not all houses have soul.
This house is almost 150 years old. We put her back together. She has her own soul and a little bit of ours too. A house is the story of the people who live there, but it is also a story of the people who give to it. We gave to her and she will keep a little piece of us with her always. She has become a part of our story and we have ultimately become a part of hers.
