THE KIND OF LOVE I LIKE TO FALL INTO

This minty gem is a refreshing vintage beauty. A 1900’s 4 story Victorian home with 4594 sq. feet of unfinished possibilities. A legal ADU and views of downtown in Pico Union for 799k isn’t quite a steal considering a good chunk of money will be needed to get her in livable condition but so much of the dirty work has been done per the listing which details a new foundation, new wiring, a new 200 amp panel, new drainage and copper plumbing, that she isn’t a bad deal either. They definitely don’t make them like this anymore. She is a real fixer to finish, just the kind of love I like to fall into.

The bones are here! The original millwork is still intact and unpainted. The stairwell, although missing it’s balusters are a sight for sore eyes. A grand entrance!

Inset kitchen cabinets are mostly installed and awaiting finishing touches. Raised to the tip top of the ceiling, this vintage kitchen is a real shaker sweetheart.

Does anyone realize the kind of crush I have on old plumbing appliances? This listing offers 3 photos of bathrooms with drool worthy (for me at least) old fixtures. Tubs and sinks. LOVE! In the last photo, I know, the sink isn’t of the era of the home, I DON’T CARE. The tub makes up for it. That tub wins. Oh, and the tile. We can’t overlook this mosaic work, it’s just too good. It’s all just pure potential.

The glorious ceilings in the attic, refinished, clean and architectural. Bright and bold, this space is calling for nook lovers of all kinds to create their own creative little world up here on the 3rd floor.

Yes, from this back view it does look a little rough. This is reality. But it doesn’t look all that different from the house I live in when I got my hands on it and it came together. She needs a lot of love and a lot of patience. What I am struck by is this brick patio. What a lovely patio. And the minty green seems like a fun paint choice. I say go with it.

If you love the idea of fixing up old homes, this one is just full of moments waiting to be loved on. If you like slapping in cheap modern finishes and calling it a flip, please don’t bother on this one. She is too pretty to not be loved the right way. Praying she finds a good home with the right kind of visionaries.
